Aberfeldy

Aberfeldy

Sit down and unwind in Aberfeldy’s sweet honeyed richness, deriving from the distillery’s longer fermentation times. They then distil in copper pot stills, and age to perfection in the finest oak casks. Their whisky is ready for you to enjoy when Stephanie MacLeod, their Malt Master, deems it perfect. This combined with Scottish malted barley, delivers a deliciously rich but easy drinking dram, offering rich rewards for those who like to dig deeper, with honey, spices, citrus and hints of vanilla. Perhaps this is why Aberfeldy continues to be awarded gold medals for its golden dram.

What makes Aberfeldy Special?

Aberfeldy Distillery is nestled within a lush valley in the foothills of the Central Highlands of Scotland, within the quaint village of Aberfeldy, Perthshire. A land steeped in folklore and fables. Founded by the two Dewar’s brothers: Tommy and John Alexander, the distillery rose up in 1898 and was designed by the famous architect, Charles Doig.

A core ingredient in all whisky, the Aberfeldy distillery was built near the Pitilie Burn - the ancient pool of the water god. Pure and fresh, the burn is known to contain deposits of alluvial gold.

Aberfeldy produce award winning whisky thanks to their dedication to perfection, deriving from their longer fermentation times and maturation in the finest oak casks. These embue the whisky with notes of honey, spices, citrus and hints of vanilla.
